About Native Style ClothingCulture. Quality. Cool.
Native Style® Clothing was launched in 2001 by its husband and wife founders, Gary and Carmen Davis. He’s a member of the Cherokee Nation and she’s a member of the Makah Tribe. The Davis’ were both already very involved nationally within the Native American community before creating Native Style Clothing. He as “Litefoot” a successful film and television actor (Indian in the Cupboard, Mortal Kombat, House of Cards) and also as the first Native American Rap Artist. Both toured across the United States constantly on music and speaking tours that provided motivation and inspiration to Native communities. The beginnings of Native Style Clothing grew from the Davis’s creative talents expanding into various fashion design ideas that seemed to be a natural evolution of the empowerment work they were already busy doing across Indian Country. The two decided upon the name Native Style and began manufacturing a line of quality t-shirts. The Davis’, along with their first child Quannah, traveled their mobile retail clothing store to hundreds of Native American communities around the U.S. and customers everywhere fell in love with Native Style’s cool, cultural influenced designs. The Native Style product offering quickly morphed into hats, sweatshirts, women’s and children’s wear and a full line of accessories. Today, Native Style sells its popular clothing and accessories exclusively via its online home at www.nativestyleclothing.com where it fills orders to customers from around the world.
